The Simpson Strong-Tie SUL26Z Skewed Left 2 x 6/8 joist hangers with ZMax® coating are skewed 45 degrees left. The angles nail slots direct nails for proper installation. These hangers will normally accommodate joists angles between 40-50 degrees. The 2 x 6/8 joist end may be square or beveled cut. This thicker coating is available on select Simpson Strong-Tie connectors. Due to this increased galvanized thickness these connectors would be expected to have a longer service life than standard galvanized connectors.
